 | About UsThe Amherst Summer Recreation Program is a summer program for Amherst students in first grade through the age of 12. Daily activities include arts and crafts in the art room which can consist of drawing, coloring, painting, etc. A variety of activities take place in the gymnasium such as dodgeball, kickball, etc. Weather permitting, we will also take students outside to play on the playground. There are also a number of field trips scheduled throughout the summer! |
FREE Registration
Registration is FREE all summer long!! You only pay for the crafts and field trips in which your child participates!
The Summer Recreation Staff will be available at both Harris Elementary (back door) and Powers Elementary for FREE registration on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 during our regular hours of 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-3:00pm.
**Free registration will continue throughout the summer. Just come on in!!
Join Us
Summer Rec. activities will begin on Thursday, June 13, 2013 and run five days a week until Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Please note that the centers are not open during scheduled field trips and afternoon events. Refer to the calendar for details.
